Founder
M.Ed., CMCS, CPRW
I've been in higher education for 15+ years and founded my private practice over 12 years ago. I work full-time as a Manager of Experiential Learning at the University of Pittsburgh, in their School of Computing & Information. I'm a part-time instructor there, as well as a Career Coach for a global outplacement firm. I've held previous roles in STEM career services, recruitment, talent acquisition, and program administration.
I was trained in career counseling at Carnegie Mellon University and am a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Salary Negotiation Facilitator (AAUW), Strong Interest Inventory and MBTI practitioner. I'm one of NCDA's first members to become a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS). I now give back to the profession reviewing CMCS credentialing applications and teaching their FCD curriculum.
Leveling the playing field - one career at a time.
My work is grounded in the belief that access to opportunity shouldn’t depend on who you know or where you started. Growing up in a blue-collar family and becoming the first in my family to attend college gave me a front-row seat to the hidden rules of career advancement - and the gaps in support that many people face.
My career consulting practice exists to level that playing field - by giving students and professionals clear strategies, insider hiring insight, and the confidence to advocate for themselves. I help people move forward not by guessing, but by understanding how the system actually works.
